djvu - file format to store scanned documentThere are many precious information scattered around the world in paper format. This is always a huge interest for many to convert those into an electronic format so that it can be preserved for a long time and information can be searched easily.
Main bottle neck was that, images scanned are of larger size and extracting the text from these images is tiring. DJVU is a free file format, designed to store scanned documents. This technology extract background, foreground and middle layer separately and compress background and foreground are compressed using a separate algorithm. With this technology size is reduced to 10-20 times compared to JPEG.

    On a related note. http://www.file-extension.com/files/DJVU/ has more information on file extension DJV & file extension DJVU with registry file association information, applications which can open them, mime-types, icon files and much more.

    Hello sir, i need your help immediately. My son is addicted to porn sites. he is just in his early tens. We both parents are working couple and could not monitor him while we are away for work. Of late we noticed that he is watching porn sites in our absence. we have internet connected pc at home. due to our nature of work we need internet connection at home . We request you to kindly suggest us how to prevent him from watching porn sites. we tried to block few sites he used to watch. But there are so many porn/vulgar sites on internet we can not block all such sites on earth. Can you please find out/suggest a software/programme we can download on our system which keeps tabs on porn/sexy photographs/erotic stories etc.

    @venkat Use only one browser on his computer install a BHO plugin so that only whitelisted sites are browsed
