Bing features, tips and tricks, review – what is new

Microsoft is ready with a decent product on internet search domain. It is called Bing, available on bing.com. Few of the interesting features are discussed here.

Bing search snapshot view

This is the first thing we notice about Bing. Mini description is displayed on the right side of the search, this help to avoid unnecessary click and it saves time.

Bing related searches

If you do a search for LCD monitors , you will be provided with a related search such as ‘cheap lcd monitors’ etc etc. on the left menu. This is much interesting.

Bing logical categories

Apart from related search it shows few logical categories like shopping , images, repair etc which are also too useful for one who search for LCD monitor.

Bing image search

Image search cannot be better than this. It is very impressive to see the images arranged and the snapshot view. “show similar images” option is yet another cool feature.Bing is intelligently picking the images which suits your search words.

Bing Videos

Video searches are neatly arranged with a short description of referring sites, length of the video etc. Even more exciting is the preview with full audio, just with a mouse over.

Bing Search filter

Yes it has a safe search option too. You can have tree type of filters

Strict          : Restrict sexually explicit content.
Moderate : Filter out the contents moderately.
Off                : Do not filter out any results.

Simple as google.

Last but not least, Bing made their interface as simple as possible which was a plus point of google.

With all this said, Is Bing going to be a nightmare for Google ??

But It is Not Google.

But It’s Nearly Google
