Jailbreak / Unlock iPod Touch 2G / 1G Firmware 3.0 with Redsn0w 0.7 – iphone unlock

redsn0w - unload jailbreak iphone It is all good news for iPhone users, iPhone 2G and iPod touch users were having so hard time in jailbreak and unlocking for quite a long time.
Now iPhone Dev team has released a new version of Redsn0w which help you to unload and jailbreak iphone 2G and iPod Touch.

Even with earlier version of Redsn0w users had an option to jailbreak but after each reboot you need to follow the process of jailbreak which was very bothersome.With RedsnOw 0.7 it is made easy.

How to Unlock / jailbreak the Firmware 3.0 on iPhone 2G with Redsn0w

1. Download Redsnow for Windows or Mac
2. Extract it to local folder .
3. Download iPhone Firmware 3.0 for your corresponding device iPod Touch 2G | iPod Touch 1G
4. Download bootloader files bl39.bin and bl46.bin and
5. upgrade the firmware to 3.0 step 3 (use Restore button)
6. Launch Redsn0w from the local folder
7. Browse for firmware3.0 ipsw file
8. Complete the procedure with Cydia option
9. Enjoy.

    I have 2g iphone, i went through all the steps of redsnow, i think jealbreak is fine but i couldn’t unlock it, i’ve downloaded all the softwares and used the 2 bootloaders and everything goes fine till it reboot and give me the sign of cable and itunes icon…because it couldn’t unlock the sim card ..

    can you help me with this please ???/

    I want to download firmware 3.0 for original iphone( iphone 1G)…..does 3.0 firmware for iphone 2G works for iphone 1G.?
