How to find similar sites of your niche

How do you find a website or blog which is related to your interest. Of course first preference would be google the keyword, but I was never satisfied with the results. Take one example, If you need to find sites similar to youtube, try searching in on google with multiple keywords and it is too complicated process to find out similar site using google (even though we can use ‘related:youtube’ in google search, it doesn’t work that perfect), where as we can give a try on below websites which provide similar sites. I wish google had an option like this.
