How to create or setup a PayPal donate button for website / blog

paypal features , advantages , disadvantages , phone numbersIf you are expecting any donation from your readers PayPal is the best and simple option. For receiving donations you need to sign up with PayPal and just need to create a donation button in PayPal user interface. Here is the simple How-To to create a donate button on PayPal.

1. Log on to PayPal using your email id and password

2. Click on Merchant Services

3. From Left side menu click ” Website Payments Standard

4. Click on Create Payment button for your website –> ” Give it a try” link

5. Select Donations on the drop down box

6. Click on “Create Button” or do your customization if required (optional)

7. Add the HTML code to your website or blog

8. Wait for donations to rain down ,

9. If you find it useful , don’t forget to donate (even 2 $ I don’t mind ;) )

  1. I wont recommend a Paypal button on a website which already shows Ads. This is because, it has a wrong impact on the website visitors. Visitors think that this website is cheap that it is not earning enough revenue to take care of itself even after showing Google Ads. This makes it clear that the website is not having quality traffic!
