What is private browsing and How to do it in Mozilla Firefox 3.5

mozilaOne of the coolest feature on Firefox 3.5 is Private Browsing, With private browsing it is safe to browse your personal sites or banking sites with out keeping traces of evidence, Fire fox won’t remember any history of these sessions.While you do a private browsing Firefox won’t keep any browser history, search history , download history , web form history , cookies or temporary internet files.It is ideal if you browse in Internet cafe or if you want to access banking sites from a public computer.
For switching to private browsing you need to have Firefox 3.5 and just press CTRL + Shift + P or menu option as below.

Once done with your private browsing you can switch back to normal again by same method CTRL + Shift + P, It will restore all the tabs which were active at the time you switched to private browsing. If you want to know more about the features of Mozilla Firefox 3.5 click here.

  2. Actually speaking, this feature is just hyped..There is no great use of this feature because we can always clear all the history when we wish to.

    as long as the service provider can access all the information…then your privacy still can be hacked.
