Google Chrome Operating System  – OS expected features

googleIt is always exciting news coming out from Google ,nine months back it was about Google Chrome browser , and now it is about Google Chrome Operating system. As per Google Blog it is reported that they are starting a new project which may be completed by second half of 2010. AS per the blog, existing Operating systems were designed at the time where there were no WEB. So Google is trying to redesign the Operating system concept. This Os could be primarily targeting on netbooks and it will be definitely a separate project so don’t confuse with Android.

+ Virus Free

+ Runs on X86 and ARM chips

It is clear enough, Google’s is getting ready for a major battle with Microsoft.

    I had heard rumors about the Google Web-OS…Whatever be the case, an Open source OS and that too from Google will be most welcome…Eagerly waiting for it..

    Google is launching chrome OS which is open source but their is some limitations plz check it Chrome OS failure
