Karbonn mobiles k770 – cheapest dual sim mobile phone available in India – Review Features and Specifications

karbonnJust have a look at the screen , you will fall in love; that is Karbonn k770. This is one of the high end models from karbonn mobiles, its stunning design and features makes you addicted and that too for a surprisingly low price. We can’t ever imagine such a feature rich dual sim mobile for this down to earth price.

Display

This is the first thing I need to specify, with 2.4 inch wide screen and 240X320 resolution, Karbonn k770 looks royal on its category.

Sound and Multimedia

Karbonn k770 is equipped with  easy to reach mp3  and FM radio button which help you to access your favorite music with a single press. One disadvantage I found is, even though it is designed for great multimedia experience it lacks a volume key on its side.

Compared to other models, menu and accessible options are placed well planned and it is easy to use.

Battery Life and Memory

I haven’t done any specific test but on a regular use K770 have a decent battery backup and it last for 3 days for a moderate user like me.Its internal phone book can hold 1000 entries , redial list can hold 20 dialed calls, and have an expandable memory which supports up to 8 GB

Connectivity

It has an WAP browser and it supports Blue tooth , EDGE , GPRS , GSM 900 and 1800

Fancy features

While discussing about Karbonn k770 fancy features, the first thing which comes up is its background sound changer. Few other features includes,

Camera

It have a 3.1 MP camera but I am not totally satisfied with its picture quality, still can live with it.

Conclusion

For the price you pay, you are getting a good looking , user friendly mobile with a dual sim facility, yes I said dual sim, that is the face mark of karbonn mobiles.

    I bought a Karbonn k770 a month back and install some games in it. Now when i try to some other games . after reaching 52% the mobile gets restarted please help me….

    Below is a list of issues I have with this phone.

    1. It was mentioned on the box that the mobile supports hindi also but only English is supported.
    2. The software is not stable, sometimes I get different menu in SMS i.e. to store the SMS to phone memory but at other times it is different menu which does not allow storing the SIM sms to phone memory.
    3. When I make a call, i get another call from “unknown caller” which is same call I have made and if I take the call nothing happens, if i disconnect that call then my call is disconnected.
    4. the phone suite provided on karbonn mobile website is for 64-bit operating system but not for 32-bit operating system.
    5. When connected to a computer the phone could be used as storage, com port ot webcam but webcam feature is not working.
    6. When I change the ring tone in a profile the old ring tone is shown as associated with that sim but the ring tone is changed.
    7. Sometimes changing the rine tone for CDMA or GSM, it says SIM1 only, not SIM2.
    8. The mobile software is very unstabled. They should provide the firmware upgrade free of charge through their service centres and website
