Windows 7  Performance improvement and monitoring

microsoftMicrosoft is working on windows 7 performance which was one of the reason for the failure of Vista. There were a lot of memory leak and other performance and driver related issues in Windows Vista,So this time Windows 7 is shipped with few good performance monitoring tools.

Performance Monitor :

Performance Monitor draw a graphical interface for you to analysis how your application is impacting the system performance.
Control Panel-> All Control Panel Items->Performance Information and Tools-> Advanced Tools- > View Performance Monitor

Event Viewer :

Even Viewer helps to analysis the problem and issues as an when it arrives. Control panel –> All Control Panel Items –> performance Information and Tools –> advanced tools -> View Performance details in event log event viewer windows 7

Resource Monitor :

CPU , Memory , Disk and Network are under vigilance and it is been tracked in Resource monitor. Control Panel-> All Control Panel Items->Performance Information and Tools-> Advanced Tools- > View Resource Monitor resource-monitor-windows-7

  1. It can be said that Microsoft is forced to provide value for money which it did not do in case of Vista. So Windows 7 will do its best to correct he flaws of Microsoft, or else, Google is inline with its Chrome OS.
