Tata Docomo launches pay-per-character Diet-SMS – cheap SMS

Tata Docomo had already set a trend of pay per use on their cell phone tariff with the introduction of pay per second billing. Now they are stepping ahead with new plans for SMS . It is called DIET SMS and it would be charged per character.

Cost of Diet-SMS would be one paise per character excluding spaces in between words. Tata Docomo has launched services in eight telecom circles and a country wide rollout is expected to completed this year.

How to download DIET-SMS application

TATA DOCOMO has also launched a phone application which can be downloaded from TATA DOCOMO ‘Dive In’ WAP portal, or by simply sending a SMS “diet” to 54321. Using this diet-sms application, you can send short text messages easily.

If you send a message “call me back” you will be charged 10 paise , Isn’t it cool !
