Security to online transcations

If you are a new credit card user or you got a new credit card from your bank the first thing you should do is to register it with Master card secureid or Verified by Visa depending on your card. Here i am explaining how to register your Master Card (Credit card) with Master card secure id. This is a extra layer of security on your internet transactions. From Aug, 2008 onwards, RBI made it as mandatory
Step 1.
Go to master card website

Step 2

Select your financial institution and the country
example , HDFC Bank Limitied and India

Click GO

It will direct you to the corresponding enrollment page , in tis example it takes you to HDFC Master card endrollment page.

Step 3
Type in your credit card number to be registered

Step 4
Type your Phrase to remember , then CVV number and date of birth or your Credit card ATM Pin and select OK

Step 5

Type your personal details such as Mobile number registered while you applied for credit card and email id

Step 6
your credit card registration is almost done, you will get an instant SMS confirming your registration.

Now on you will be prompted for this extra password to complete any online transactions. Be secure !!!
