Free Alternative for photoshop – free image and photo editing software for windows

paint smallWe have earlier featured an alternative for SnagIT , now Paint.NET is featured here as an alternative for Adobe Photoshop or Microsoft Photoshop Editor. This was started as a development project for undergraduate college and now it is at a stage where it can compete with any of those professional image editing software.

* 512 MB of RAM
* 1024 x 768 screen resolution
* 200+ MB hard drive space
* 64-bit mode requires a 64-bit CPU and a 64-bit edition of Windows
