How to enable mouse in command window – copy paste using mouse in command prompt

There are circumstances where you need to work on command prompt and it is always difficult to copy and paste cmdanything from command prompt to some other place and vise verse. This quick tip will enable copy and paste on command prompt. After the settings you just need to select the portion which need to be copied and ten right click to paste.

Open command prompt from start -> run –> cmd

Click on properties –> Options tab –> Enable QuickEdit Mode

You can enable “quick edit” for current window or for all windows with same title.

PS: now you can copy the content by click and select and paste it on same screen just by right clicking. If you want to paste it some where else example note pad, use ctl + V.
