Google Phone Nexus One India price and specifications:

nexusInternet giant Google is ready to shake the world mobile market with its own mobile handset – Nexus One. Nexus One will be manufactured in collaboration with HTC Corporation. HTC already has the credit of several successful Android based mobile devices like Hero, Tattoo, Droid Eris,Magic, etc. Few HTC Android device use HTC’s own Sense UI over Android OS. But the Nexus One has Google designed UI. The Google touch can be seen in the graphics and overall design of the phone. All Google mobile services including Google Voice would be available with Nexus One. Specifications of the device show that Google has done enough research on the mobile market, and considered requirements of the users. Their marketing power would also help the device to hit targets.

Expected price of Nexus One in India

In US it is expected to be released by mid of Jan, 2010. There are subsidized and non-subsidized rates available for US customers, but leaked news says that in India it would be marketed at a lower price range and without any contract with wireless communication providers. If that is the case India customers can buy Nexus one these mobiles without network lock at a cheaper price. Prices are yet to be disclosed , but it would be approx. 20-25K

The device is definitely better than iPhone 3G S and other recent smartphone releases. It has better processor, expandable memory, replaceable battery etc. that iPhone lacks. Nexus One would a hit in India if Google price it wisely.

    We will be waiting for the India release. But the article here says that the price of Nexus will be much lower in India and will come with free calling plans and SMS plans ( Pay the VOIP charges only.)

    I really don’t think that nexus one will come to India as google has no plans to launch any other phone like nexus..people who might be waiting for this phone in India should get it from other sources..there will not be any other models or Nexus 2 versions etc for this phone.

    PS: Google launched this phone to get the market overview for there Andriod software. They team working on the OS wants to get the OS to the market. Now, they have clearly mentioned that they doesn’t have any further plans for the phones.

    Official words : Yes, we done it with phone. Now stop it and start focus on Andriod !!

    Please stop faking this news all over the forums/blogs as people will led to misleading and they keep waiting for this awesome device.

    Offcourse, Nexus one will be the first and last model of Google but it will be the first model that will get upgrade to future versions of Andriod’s as compared to HTC, Samsung and other Manufactures !
