I know it is too late to write a post about twitter basics , but I am surprised to see there are many internet users who are still not aware of twitter and its uses and upon the request this post is published.

In this fast moving world each and every news is getting updated in a matter of seconds, when it comes to the personal updates twitter helps to publish your personal updates to the world. Collectvly each and every thing happening around the world is getting updated in the twitter. Hence twitter is getting extremely popular among young people.Millions of people are now addicted to Twitter and they spend tons of hours in twittering. If you are new to twitter, its just a matter of minutes to get used to it. Twitter is a mixture of texting and blogging . Each tweets are only made up of 140 characters. Twitter is a known as a micro-blogging and social networking tool. If you need to get the updates of any of your friends then you need to “follow” them, like that if any one who follows you they will get the updates which you publish on twitter. There are already more than six million users on twitter.

Tweeting is a process of updating information through twitter. It is a fun and  millions of people are now using this social site. you can also use Twitter through your mobile phone. As Twitter become popular , many internet marketers start using twiter as a marketing tool to sell their products and even big corporates start tweeting as an advertisment option.Basic concept is , if you tweet some thing which is interesting then you will get more followers and thus you become popular.

Retweets are the tweets which are republished by you. If you like a tweet published by someone else , you can republish it with retweet.

The most important factor for the success is its simplicity. as told earlier learning how to use twitter is very simple and any one who experince it for an hour can be a most of it. There are different reasons for people to use Twitter.It may be to increase social relationship, it may be to increase website visitors, it may be to sell a product, what ever may be the reason twitter is a fun.there are many who are confused about blogging and twitter and there are discussions whether they should stop blogging and start using twiter. My advise is to use twitter as a socializing tool and use it as a tool to promote your blog, but saying this you should not be tweeting about your blog alone, while tweeting you should be useful to others so that you will get more followers.
