Adobe announce AIR platform for Android and other Mobile OS

Adobe announced the introduction of Flash 10.1 and AIR platform for Google’s Android mobile operating system. This announcement can be treated as evidence of Adobe’s plan to introduce AIR (Adobe Integrated Runtime) as a common Platform across mobile operating system.

AIR is the platform for stand-alone applications that use Flash or Web technology. Using this platform, developers can design their own application and then it can run on multiple OS.In the WMC (World Mobile Congress) this announcement was done.

Adobe has plans to introduce AIR to other mobile OS platforms as well, lets wait for more great applications on AIR.
