Tikona Internet wireless broadband – cheap and fast broadband Internet

tikona logoTikona is an all India ISP specialized in wireless broadband internet service. Tikona claims that they are powered by 4th generation technologies, OFDM and MMO. The key marketing feature they deploy is their 2 Mbps plan with Bill limit.

Regarding security of Wireless internet connection provided by Tikona, Please read it from their website as follow.

Tikona WI-BRO is far more superior than other self installed Wi-Fi services because of the following

* WI-BRO uses state-of-the-art WPA2 encryption standard (128 bit key versus 40 bit key used in earlier standards) for data transmission and 802.1x authentication for clients.
* Password is set by the end user/subscriber directly through a Self Care Portal.
* Access is permitted only from devices whose MAC IDs are allowed by the end user/subscriber.
* Compulsorily requires modem/dialer for accessing Tikona WI-BRO service.

Concept of Circuit Breaker (CB) plans

In case of circuit breaker plans as soon as your bill reaches the maximum bill value, your charging stops. Your service however, continues to work, although at a reduced speed. The original speed is restored automatically upon receipt of bill payment. Alternatively, you can choose to make an ad hoc payment ahead of your regular bill payment date, to enjoy full speed service. In circuit breaker plans usage during the ‘reduced speed’ period is not charged

    I am not satisfied with Tikona Internet Service. The main problem is network signal in our area, West Sagarpur, New Delhi. Along with me, all my friends that are using internet service from tikona facing the same problem of low internet browsing speed, network signal problem and slow customer service.
    The plans are attractive, vision of Tikona is also good. Tikona need to improve their poor signaling, slow browsing speed & customer support service.

    This is a fraud company with very poor service my net is down for 2 months now and they are sending bill. I had called their engineers 30 times atleast but no response their numbers are always switched off

    this is a fraud company with very poor service my net is down for 1 months now and they are sending bill. I had called their technical helpers and customers 30 times atleast but no response their numbers are always don’t connect the tikona broadband series relay they are banded the customers so don’t use this network

    Please donot take tikona broadband its only cheating after taking money they provide one box naming modem which is only flashing yellow lights after green lights for few hours. I am a sufferer of this broadband and now come to know that Tikona have no technical experts and always customer care center person speak only one word “SORRY SIR”.

    I TOOK A NEW CONNECTION AS THEY STILL CAN NOT SOLVE THE OLD CONNECTION PROBLEM AND IT WORKED SUPERB FOR THE FIRST 3 DAYS AND EVEN THIS CONNECTION HAS NETWORK ISSUES.ITS A REAL FRAUD

    what is fun of giving ads. in news papers. People should be more careful and should not make any payment in advance.

    It’s a fraud company with pathetic customer service, actually no service. Once money paid it becomes a night mare you will not get back your money. All promises made during presales are hoax .so don’t make a mistake of paying them .Don’t even consider them as your service provider cause you are falling into trap.

    Dealing with their customer service is one hell of an experience. You will curse the day you got linked with “TIKONA”. It’s that Bad trust me. I am still cursing that Day as I type.

    All in all it is a fraud hoax company with nobody responsible and bothered from lower to top management. A well wisher ALARMING those who are considering to go for TIKONA. what a pain in the ASS.

    Hello to all being an honest customer i would like to inform tikon digital services that their services sucks,i took hte connection for brodband services on 13th of august as if now my account is not activated,i called their so called customer service to knw wer the problem is n every time i got incorrect information it seems that they have given this connection to me free of cost,i would never suggest anyone to join this broadband service,this company is pain in ass

    Hi i your customer. I am using this service from last 40days. Daily i am facing problem in this service. I ever used like this kind of worst internet service in my life. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,this msg for every one who want to take a tikona service,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

    Hi Dont go with this service.I took this connection some 20 days before.but till now i am not able to connect to the internet.I am calling the customer care daily and i am getting good response from them like”it will be over with in day”.i think they dont have customer care agants they are simply playing recorded voice.20 times i raised compliant but 21time also they will ask from the intial what was the issue.finally they told me to wait for another two days.Still i am waiting for the same.I am searching a way instred of we calling them we make them to call us.I will give the steps to fowllow if u r intrested.

    One day i called customer care in tikona and gave my complient.but they told me to wait for some time ,after 15 mins i asked what u r doing then they said they have some network issues:):) they are not able to check my details with their Database.they dont know which agents will help to solve this issue.so please dont call them for u r network connectivity issue

    Tikona Digital Network is really cheapest service they are playing with all Customers.
    i complained for Internet Connectivity but i am facing problem and i goes cafe to use internet coz my internet is giving only 10 KBPS i also paid money in advance for 3 Months.

    I was using this connection for past 10 days and I had done a mistake of taking Quarterly plan by paying 2095/- for 300kbps unlimited, but after 4days my connection gone slow..I am not getting even 40kbps speed….I had registered complaint on 17th Feb11, but still now my problem is not solved….Please don’t go for this service provider, they are really cheater, they don’t have Business ethic…

    nt work finaly some, area mngr from tikona had visited to my bulding for permission his name>>>> alex….. he called some engr, and solved my problem since then its working fantastic believe me guys tikona is giving me good speed, i am happy with it

    As I read the comments based on User experiences, I came to the conclusion that All ISPs in India namely — Reliance, Tata and Trikona are fraud. I have used all these services and found the same experience with all of them. They claim and highlight the speed limit as upto …. 2 Mbps or 3.1 Mbps but none of them promises any minimum speed limit. The more their customer database expands, the poor the service they provide.

    Reason :— Its like One plate meal needs to be shared among all. When I contact my friends in US and share their screens thru a Remote Deskop Session, I usually ask them to check their internet speed from the same websites I use to check my own Internet speed. I am surprised to see their Internet speed which ranges to 25 Mbps even during Office hours and it shows when I see them using the connection while downloading or browsing.

    One thing I wold like to say :– It all depends on the General Condition of a Country. In a country where Govt. is busy in just finding out the ways to make huge money scams, where there is no worry about the Food Adultration, large no.of mosqitoes, business in Hospitals and lot more Garbage …. nothing good can be expected.

    I am sure that these companies will keep on providing poor services because if 5 people terminate the connection, 50 new people will start using the connection as they do not know the actual scenario due to marketing.

    There is only one solution :–

    If Govt. sets up the condition for these companies to provide a minimum essential speed to each User if these companies want to retain their Licence.

    Till now, No Standards have been set for these companies regarding this. So, they are providing us sub standard service.
