Root your HTC EVO 4G Mobile – step by step instruction and download

Are you waiting to root your HTC EVO 4G Mobile, here are the steps to do it , before that if you wonder what a rooting is ? Rooting is the process by which you get full access to your mobile phones. There are many functions which are restricted from you by your manufacturer and service provider.

1. Download following files to your computer.

PC36IMG.zip

EVO-recovery.zip

“Rooted” HTC Evo ROM

2. Connect our HTC DVO 4G to computer and copy the fiels to the root directory of SD Card

3. Reboot HTC EVO by pressing turn it off, press power button and volume down button.
(it takes you to boot loader menu)

4. Select volume up button to start rooting (it picks the file from root directory)

5. Wait for approx. 5 mins and your phone will be rooted. Enjoy the power

6. Need to rename the PC36IMG.zip to some other name.

Note: It is risky to root your device , so do it on your risk.
