Twitter down time today, twitter downtime again reasons, twitter going down for a week

Twitter outage : As we all know twitter is having a bad month after November in terms of its uptime. Twitter has been facing lots of network issues and internal server issues , due to which twitter service was experiencing high error rate today and also there was a downtime yesterday.
In twitter’s offical blog, Sean Garrett was ready to mention that June,2010  is the worth month for twitter with perspective of outages.Same kind of issues they faced in the month of October, 2009. Earlier one of the twitter engineer also mentioned that there were few issues related to internal network which caused the outage.

Fifa Worldcup  and twitter outage

Twitter also admitted that Fifa world cup also contributed to this outage,since users are tweeting about world cup news and scores which attributed to a higher load on the system. Now twitter is planning to fix the issue from root and they might bring down the service for a week or two. From this it is very clear that the maintenance they are going to perform is deep rooted.
