How to protect your content – track your content from copying

content copyContent Scrapers still exist, even with Google’s new algorithm changes content scrapers are still on full throttle.  If you are a blogger for at least 6 months you might have faced this irritating issue of your content being copied. Personally I don’t feel bad if a part of my content is copied but I feel irritated if  entire content is copied to some other blogs or website.

Normally content scrappers don’t bother to read the content, instead they just do a copy and paste , so here this particular java script will place a backlink to your blog if you do a copy paste. This enable us to track who had copied our content , or atleast it might give you a backlink. I hope you are well aware about the importance of backlinks. You can also create an google alert for your domain so as soon as your content is live on some other website with the backlinks , you will get alerted.

To see how it works, just copy and paste this post to a notepad and see what is there at the end of the article. :)   This is made possible with a cute little script provided by tynt .  It is a freeware too.
