It is always confusing where these temporary files are stored on MAC OS, these temporary files are having cookie related information, flash files and other downloaded files which may consume your hard disk space and it can also slow down your computer. It is also a good practice to delete the temporary internet files once in a for security reasons too. There are many free utilities available on internet which will solve this problem , but it is always good to know what is happening behind the screen when you run these utilities.

EasyFind and Spotlight are two good utilities which can be used to remove your temporary internet files. If you prefer to do this manually then you should find these folders and delete it yourselves.
