Nokia N8 – HDMI, USB on the Go , Web TV – touch screen – release date

To catch up with touch screen mobile phone market Nokia started putting efforts, as part of this Nokia is going to lauch its latest N series Mobile phone Nokia  N8 by end of September 2010. In this global launch, Nokia will make N8 available in many countries including India.

The 3G and HSDPA enabled mobile phone is with 3.5 inch AMOLED touch screen with a high resolution for sharp image clarity. It is fixed with a 12 megapixal camera also it can shoot HD ready video of 720 p format. This Nokia N8 will be the first of its kind to have a unique feature of having HDMI port in a mobile phone. This means you can connect your mobile phone to HD TV and watch your favorite Videos and TV shows. Another unique features is, it has a ‘USB on the Go’ is the ability to connect your usb/pen drive to your mobile phone and transfer data directly to and fro. It means you can store thousands of songs and videos in your pen drive and watch it on your mobile or TV by connecting it to your Nokia n8. You can directly read and write data to and fro your pen drive to Nokia N8.

Nokia N8 has a internal memory of 16GB and expandable memory of 48 GB, so N8 itself can store huge amount of videos and music files. Nokia N8 runs on symbian3 OS with ARMII 680 MHz processor and 3D Graphics HW accelerator. Nokia N8′s touch screen is highly responsive and fast. Nokia N8 allows users to setup three home screens which can be customized depending on your needs. It has a Li-on Battery with 1200 mAh gives 390 hrs standby time and 12 hrs of talktime, you can play 50 hrs of music in this Nokia N8.
