Gtalk is one of the most commonly used Instant messenger (IM) program and if you are not allowed to install gtalk on your network , then portable application is for your help. Portable application will not write anything on your system registry and it will not leave any trace of information about this installation. This can be easily carried on your pen drive or USB device. Portableapps.com is one of the most common place to get all portable applications but Gtalk is not available with them do to some reasons. I just did a Google and found few places where you can download portable gtalk applicaiton, you just need to download this zip file and extract to your harddisk or usb device and click on gtalk icon.
