Mobile Number Portability from Idea Mobile coming soon – plan, charges, tariff

Idea cellular is coming up with yet another idea. It is nothing but Mobile Number Portability, ie, you can switch from any mobile service provider to another without changing your existing mobile number.

We had just seen a advertisement on youtube, it just mean that idea is almost there to launch mobile number portability.

    nice to here this
    i had taken reliance cdma sim by chance but as i was nt having cdma handset i m nt able to use the card so can i get shift to idea?
    how much charges ?
    how many days will reqiured for it?
    and currently sim is activated but nt in use so is it ok for portability?
    and i m having some balane in it so can i able to use it after portability?

    there is no CDMA to GSM conversion available right now
    Balance amount cannot be carry forward to other operator
