The Kochi IPL Team is a cricket team based in the city of Kochi, a major seaport located on the south-west coast of India by the Arabian Sea, in Ernakulam district of the state of Kerala. The team was one of two new franchisees added to the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the 2011 season, alongside the Sahara Pune Warriors. The Kochi Team franchise is owned by Kochi Cricket Pvt Ltd., which is a consortium of multiple companies.

    Mahela is the perfect fit for the captancy role unless the Pricne of calcutta didn’t make it to kochi. The next chance should be to Brenden. Least chance for Sreesanth.

    Ganguly is not with us so Mahela is only choice as a captain.

    It absolutely unfair in restricting some one to play as in the case of Sourav Ganguly.
    Rules to be amended to help some one to play . Hope all controlling authorities to

    i think dada is a good player but he lacks aggresivnes…so dada is not a gud pick 4 kochi…coz dey hav owais shah,hodge and jayawerdene,and as far as opening is concernd its got2 b laxman and mccullum…so kochi is the best contenders for the ipl this time…
