How to activate and deactivate missed call alerts in Airtel

My default Airtel has a feature to call divert when you are engaged in another calls. Due to this feature many times the other person who try to call you hear a ringing tone instead of engaged tone. He might be under the impression that you have already received a missed call. There is a way to overcome this issue. Airtel offers you a missed call alerts at a rate of Rs. 15/- per month.

Follow the simple process to enable and disable missed call alert. Activating and deactivating this alert is very important when you are waiting for any important business calls etc.

To enable your missed call alert send a message from your mobile

*321*881# , once you send this message reply to the message with ’1′ to activate this service. Rs. 15 will be deducted from your account or from your next bill.

To disable or deactivate missed call alert

Send a message to *321*883# and confirm the message with 1.

Once you disable the missed call alerts you will not be charged Rs. 15/- from next month onwards.
